Junior Ranger Program

The National Park of American Samoa offers children of all ages a world of exploration and discovery. Whether hiking the park’s short trails or exploring its beautiful beaches (with adult supervision), kids can immerse themselves in the natural wonders of the island.

Junior Ranger Activity Book: Fun for the Whole Family

For families visiting the park, the free Junior Ranger Activity Book is an exciting way for children to learn about the park and the National Park Service. Through engaging activities, kids can deepen their understanding of the natural and cultural resources that make the National Park of American Samoa so special.

Once the activities are complete, participants can visit a park ranger at the Visitor Center or mail in their completed activity book to the national park. Upon review, the park will send back the book along with an official Junior Ranger certificate and badge, commemorating their achievement.

How to Get the Junior Ranger Activity Book

The Junior Ranger Activity Book is available in both English and Samoan. You can download it directly from the park’s website, or request a printed copy by writing or emailing the park.
