Date: July 3, 2005 Ninety Six National Historic Site was featured recently on South Carolina’s ETV (Educational Television, PBS). The piece was part of the ETV Road Show that included the Lower South Carolina Piedmont area. Interpretive Ranger Melinda M. Zupon talked about the park’s history and numerous events that are held each year. Upon visiting Ninety Six National Historic Site, ETV started filming in April during the park’s “Revolutionary War Days” event. This program highlighted 18th century military life, musket firing demonstrations, and civilian activities. The segment started broadcasting June 19, 2005 and will be rebroadcast periodically by ETV. |
