Ninety Six supports a modest number of habitats for reptiles and amphibians in the bottomland hardwood habitats, shallow wetlands, stream, and floodplain areas. The park's herpetofaunal inventory includes several species of frogs, salamanders, turtles, lizards, and snakes. Of 87 species within range, 31 were documented in the park during a study conducted between 2002 and 2005. (Reed & Gibbons, Southern Utah University, 2005).
