When American revolutionaries waged a war for independence, they took a leap of faith. Explore that leap of faith in the Smithsonian's traveling exhibition, Voices and Votes: Democracy in America.

Participate in democracy by casting your ballot to share why you vote. Test your knowledge by taking a citizen test. Go head-to-head in a game of lively debate and persuasion.

Voices and Votes has dynamic activities for families, students and teachers including historical and contemporary photos, short films, games and interactives, plus campaign souvenirs, voter memorabilia, and protest materials. See exhibits that explore local stories of democracy.
