Prescribed Fire
The prescribed fire program at Jewel Cave National Monument was delayed in August 2000. Over 90% of the park burned in the Jasper Fire. The prescribed fire program will be re-initiated in 3-5 years. Click here to see photos of the Jasper Fire at Jewel Cave.
