Location:Near the US Capitol at ‘C’ and Washington Streets, SW
Goals of project
•Build a memorial to honor American Veterans Disabled for Life within view of the US Capitol
Impacts to consider:
•Site will have viewing portals, but otherwise will be screened from view
•There will be an illustrative sign near the site.
•Some traffic impacts prior to memorial construction due to re-alignment of ‘C’ St.
