Washington – Starting September 1, the National Park Service (NPS) will extend metered parking along Ohio Drive SW in East Potomac Park.
The new metered section will begin at the intersection of Ohio Drive and Buckeye Drive SW and continue southeast to the entrance of the East Potomac Park Golf Course. Approximately 110 parking spaces are affected by the change.
This expansion supports ongoing efforts to generate revenue that will improve amenities and visitor services throughout the park. Parking meter rates will remain aligned with those in other areas of the National Mall at $2.30 per hour. Visitors may park in East Potomac Park for up to six hours. Parking regulations are enforced in coordination with the D.C. Department of Public Works.
