OXON HILL, Md. — The National Park Service invites the community to attend the annual Oxon Hill Farm Fall Festival on October 19, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.

The Fall Festival is an annual tradition that encourages the community to participate in fall themed activities at a national park. The theme of this year’s festival is “Art in the Park” and will feature pumpkin painting, a drum circle, square dancing and story time with the local library.

Skilled artisans will be present throughout the day to share their crafts along with live musical performances in the afternoon. This is a free family friendly event that will have something for everyone to enjoy.

Oxon Hill Farm is located within Oxon Cove Park and offers an escape from the nearby city life. Enjoy every season at Oxon Hill Farm with activities such as hiking, biking, viewing nature and meeting the resident farm animals or delving into the extensive and interesting history of the land now known as Oxon Cove Park. Park grounds are open daily from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
