NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
December 22, 2025: The National Park Service is extending the temporary closure of Folger Park, one of the Capitol Hill Parks. Folger Park is closed and will remain closed until February 12, 2026, at 11:59 pm.
Violation is prohibited. A map illustrating the closed park areas is attached.
This temporary closure is necessary to provide for visitor safety during a comprehensive rehabilitation project to restore park resources and improve the visitor experience.
Persons using these park areas should remove themselves and any property from the closed areas.
The National Park Service appreciates the public’s cooperation in this matter.
