Quarry site Inside the Dinosaur Quarry building, the quarry face contains thousands of dinosaur bones and other fossils, most of which are in place as they were found. These fossils represent a whole community of Jurassic Period life, from 30-ton adult apatosaurs to small juvenile dinosaurs, plus turtles, crocodiles, and clams. Dinosaur National Monument
