Charles "Chief" A. Anderson

A civilian pilot, "Chief" Anderson was critical to the success of the Tuskegee Experience. He continued to train pilots of all races after WW II ended. In 1951, Chief Anderson began a flight training program at Moton Field for civilians and cadets in the Army and Air Force Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC). Anderson was an aviation pioneer and contiued to fly regularly well into his eighties.
