Switch Key

Made for the Philadlphia and Reading Railroad
ca. 1920

Railroad keys had customized bits to fit the particular locks of each railroad. A switch key would be stamped with an “S” as well as the maker’s hallmark, and usually the railroad’s initials. This key is from the Philadelphia and Reading Railroad.
