U.S. Park Ranger Badge

1920 – 1930

The National Park Service issued its first badge in June 1920.   The silver shield-shaped badge marked "U.S. Park Ranger" was worn by both officers and rangers.  It was made in two pieces: a shield and a coined center bearing an eagle looking to its left.
