This feather fan belonged to Chief Looking Glass. He probably carried this fan at important ceremonies. It would have had special significance to Chief Looking Glass. Eagle feathers are symbols of honor and are considered sacred. It is made from ten bald eagle feathers. The ends are wrapped in red cloth and form a drop past the handle. .
