Chase, an inmate at Alcatraz, completed a series of ten paintings on artboard panels depicting a 180-degree panoramic view of San Francisco Bay from Telegraph Hill to Tiburon. This panel captures freighters leaving the Bay, along with the northern edge of the Presidio and its hills.
