Known by her Navajo name Tso-he [Biggie], she was called Sophie at school. Her parents worked for the Hubbell family. Her father, Dahaana Nééz Slivers [Hastiin Nez, see HUTR 3416] was the family cook for many years, her mother was a housekeeper. Tso-He was four years old when her mother died. Mrs. Lina Hubbell often cared for her and she played with the Hubbell children. In an interview she noted, “An artist drew a picture of me. He was just drawing pictures of people.
