Adele Slivers, Ned Slivers, Wilfred Slivers, and Mary Slivers Foley. This portrait was drawn of Apache when he was about 18 years old. He was also known as Henry James, a name given to him by J.L. Hubbell. He probably worked for the Hubbell family. He also posed for the painting, “Navajo Poker Game” [see HUTR 5277] where he is standing against the back wall wearing a white shirt, red tie, and a hat. Conte crayon on paper.
