Museum Collections

The park’s collections include plant specimens; bird, mammal, reptile, fish, insect, and coral specimens; and a tree snail collection.  There are historical objects related to the park, archeological objects systematically recovered from within the park's boundaries and associated field records, and archival materials.  The collections at Everglades National Park number over 2.8 million items.
