Clara Barton’s birthplace in North Oxford, Massachusetts, about 50 miles west of Boston is featured in the postcard.
Miss Barton was born here on Christmas Day, 1821. The family moved in 1829. The Women’s National Missionary Association of the Universalist Church purchased her birthplace in 1921. It now operates as a museum.
