Pueblo Woman Carrying a Jar

This woman from Zia Pueblo is carrying a water jar on her head and holding a ladle made of gourd. She is dressed in traditional Pueblo-style clothing. This work was commissioned by Bandelier National Monument under the Works Progress Administration [WPA] program.
