Mount Rushmore to Stream the Presidential Inauguration Live

KEYSTONE, SD: Mount Rushmore National Memorial Superintendent Cheryl Schreier invites the public to view the Fifty-Seventh Presidential Inauguration Ceremony streamed live in Theater B at the ‘Shrine of Democracy’ on Monday January 21, 2013.

Screening of the ceremony will begin at 8:00 a.m. (MST) and continue through the oath of office and the inaugural address. President Barack H. Obama will take the oath of office at 11:30 a.m. (EST) on the steps of the Capitol. The theme of the inauguration ceremony is “Faith in America’s Future.” 

Participants are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from Mount Rushmore National Memorial and the purchase of an $11 annual parking pass.
