Audio Description

You can download an audio described version of the park brochure (12.43 MB Zip). The full text of the audio described brochure is also available.

There is an audio description tour for the visitor center and museum. You can find the tour in the NPS App or borrow a device and headset from the information desk. There is no audio description for the exhibits in the Tenant House.

Braille

You can get a braille park brochure at the visitor center information desk. There is a tactile map of the visitor center with braille in the museum. There are four tactile orientation maps of the Monocacy area with braille in the Tenant House.

Hands-On Experiences

In the visitor center museum and the Tenant House exhibits, you can touch items like mill stones, pottery, and lumber.
