Gas and Charging Stations

Gas Alert!

Enjoy a stress free vacation by not worrying about running out of gas! Gas or electrical charging is not available in Mojave National Preserve. In addition, there are no stations where Kelbaker Road meets Interstate 40. Visitors coming from the south should fill up near Twentynine Palms, Amboy (hours limited), or take a detour on Interstate 40 to the nearest station. The Preserve is filled with long inclines and mountains that will drain your tank or battery level.

Yates Well, NV
Primm, NV

Along I-40, west to east:

Ludlow, CA
Fenner, CA
Needles, CA

South of I-40:

Amboy, CA

Along Highway 95, north to south:

Searchlight, NV
Cal-Nev-Ari, NV
