Black Canyon Equestrian & Group Campground
The Black Canyon Equestrian & Group Campground (located 1 mile from Hole-in-the-Wall Information Center) is ideal for larger groups up to 50 campers.
Fees
Beginning January 1, 2025, the group and equestrian sites will cost $50 nightly and be reservable online at recreation.gov. Recreation.gov sites will be available to reserve on December 23, 2024.
Reservations
The campground is booked through the end of 2024. Campsite requests beginning January 1, 2025 will need to be made through recreation.gov once available on December 23.
Amenities Group campsite: shaded shelter with picnic tables, fire ring, grill, water spigot, vault toilets, trash receptacles. Equestrian campsite: Corrals, fire ring, grill, water spigot, vault toilets, trash receptacles.

Note: Firewood collecting is not allowed in the park, nor is firewood available for sale within the preserve.
Groups with a certain number of persons or vehicles might need a permit if their activities extend beyond a certain distance from the Group Campground. We encourage you to contact us here if your group has more than 7 vehicles or 25+ persons.
