Bring Your Pets on the Trail

Pets are welcome on the trail and where vehciles are allowed. However, owners are responsible for thier pets and pets must be leashed at all times. The leash can be no longer than 6ft and all owners need to be carrying bags and pick up any excremant. Remember to stay on the trail at all times! Due to the extreme temperatures experienced in the park, please do not leave your pets in your parked vehicle. Even with the windows rolled down, temperatures inside a locked car can climb to over 140°F (60°C) during the summer! Be sure to carry plenty of water for yourself and your pet! Please see below for more information on the rules and regulations.
