Another great day of interpretation at Montezuma Well! It was quite a hot day so I spent a lot of time behind the well, under the shade of the tall green trees. There were multiple large groups of people today which made interpretation a bit more challenging;it is easier to talk to a couple people rather than ten. I spent some time walking the drainage ditch with Tim Yates and I saw a skunk along the way;it ran off into its hole as soon as it saw me. I also saw a fox on the rim of Montezuma Well, which was a real treat! Volunteer Jon Hayden said he saw a muskrat, which I have yet to see. I can't wait to see what's in store for me next week!
