Common Spiderwort

Common Spiderwort (Tradescantia ohiensis) Description: Spiderwort flowers are royal blue, sometimes white. They grow well in all kinds of environments, from dry to wet prairies. Their flowers last for a single day, contracting in the afternoon into a sticky mass that will drip if touched. Planting: Sow unstratified seed in the fall, stratified seed in the spring.
