Each month the park and Mississippi Park Connection offer Monthly Opportunities for Volunteer Enrichment! The MOVE! series of learning events allows volunteers to engage with the National Park in a new way to learn about history, culture, and ecology all along the park's 72-mile corridor. Park volunteers are in a unique position to teach the public about the Mississippi River. We hope these events will broaden your knowledge of particular topics so that you can engage with visitors in depth. These events will also be a fun way to meet volunteers and park rangers from other park programs, and learn about new volunteer opportunities. Registration is requested, and all Mississippi National River and Recreation Area and Mississippi Park Connection volunteers are welcome. Check out our current list of MOVE! Events.
