Through financial assistance, NPS Chesapeake Gateways develops planning documents, research, resource documents, studies, and much more. One major focus of our current strategic plan is to support holistic planning for Chesapeake Gateway communities in inclusive ways, with diverse voices co-creating the vision and plans; use equity and community analyses to inform expanded engagement driving access (physical and programmatic) to water, nature, and green space and building resiliency close to home.
