Parking

Parking near the Lincoln Memorial is limited. There is some metered street parking along Ohio Drive SW between the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorials and in parking lots south of the Jefferson Memorial. Most parking in this area has a two‑hour limit. Ticketing and towing are enforced.

There are some accessible parking spots on Daniel French Drive SW, just south of the Lincoln Memorial.

 

Public Transportation

The closest Metro station to the Lincoln Memorial is Foggy Bottom-GWU (Blue/Orange/Silver lines). It is about 0.8 miles from the station to the memorial. The Smithsonian Metro Station (Blue/Orange/and Silver lines) is about 1.2 miles from the memorial.

Bikes and Scooters

Bikes and scooters are welcome on the National Mall. There are bike racks and scooter parking next to the Lincoln Memorial. Please remember, riding bikes or scooters in the memorial is not allowed.
