One hundred percent of recreational fees collectin in the park are reinvested right here in Lewis and Clark National Historical Park. The park uses revenue from fee for all kinds of projects, including deferred maintenance projects, that improve visitor facilities like visitor center, trails, boardwalks and Fort Clatsop. Today Lewis and Clark NHP collects approximately $350,000. As a small fee revenue park, we also receive project money generated from other fee parks such as Yellowstone. This money each year goes directly into projects benefiting the visitor experience. Over time, this really adds up and hundreds of projects have been completed using fee money.
