Mineral Range Railroad Depot
Built in 1903, this railroad station once connected the Keweenaw to faraway cities like Chicago and Milwaukee. Tears of joy and the chatter of various languages filled the air at this bustling entry point for the thousands of immigrants to the Copper Country. When the trains unloaded, family members might be reunited after months, or sometimes years, of separation.
