Numerous organizations throughout the Keweenaw Peninsula and Lake Superior region are supporting the preservation of the area's natural and cultural resources. Some are fund-raising groups and other are membership organizations. Several that are affiliated with Keweenaw National Historical Park are listed below:

Copper Country Preservation, Inc.

A nonprofit organization dedicated to the protection and rehabilitation of historic resources throughout Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula.

National Parks of Lake Superior Foundation

A newly organized, privately supported effort to fund special projects in the five U.S. national parks on Lake Superior, over and above appropriated funds.

Isle Royale and Keweenaw Parks Association

A nonprofit educational organization that works in partnership with the National Park Service to promote the public's understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of Isle Royale National Park and Keweenaw National Historical Park.

Keweenaw Heritage Sites

Many of the Keweenaw Heritage Sites that are partners in Keweenaw National Historical Park raise funds for their own programs and operations.
