Scouts learn how to fold, raise and lower a flag during the flag etiquette program.

Scout groups of any age can make reservations for our flag etiquette program. This includes a review of flag etiquette, a Junior Ranger activity book, and tour of the Garfield home. Flag etiquette programs are free, and last about an hour and a half. Registration is required: contact us at e-mail us or call 440-255-8722.

Scouts and families may also join the Flag Retirement Ceremony, which will be held on Flag Day, June 14 2025 at noon. Attendees will witness how to respectfully retire worn or damaged flags that are no longer servicable. No registration is necessary.
