Guided Tours

The Garfield Home will be closed from January 5 to February 27, so that the historic wood flooring on the first floor and memorial library wing can be stripped, cleaned and refinished. The project is part of National Park Service commitment to caring for the home of our 20th president.

As a result of this work, the annual Presidents Day program will be canceled.

The Visitor Center will remain open for normal winter hours, Fridays through Sundays 10am-5pm, staffed with rangers and volunteers to answer questions and share the Garfield home story in different ways.

Guided tours of the Garfield home vary by season, and are free. Reservations are required for groups of 6 or more; please call 440-255-8722.
