Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore’s West Beach will be closed for a paving project. The beach area, located at 376 N. County Line Road in Portage, will be closed from Thursday, November 3rd through Wednesday, November 9th. There are several other beach areas within the national lakeshore that will remain open during the West Beach closure. They are Portage Lakefront, Porter, Kemil, Dunbar, and Lakeview.
