Date: January 18, 2024

Try out snowshoeing and wander through a winter wonderland at Chellberg Farm every Saturday and Sunday in January and February from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Stop by the farmhouse to warm up and learn about the area’s history. Snowshoes can be checked out at the farmhouse, but please note there are a limited number of snowshoes available. Snowshoeing is also dependent on the amount of snow on the ground with a minimum of three inches of snow required. Regardless of snow, the farmhouse will be open for hikers to stop by and enjoy. Call 1-219-395-1882 for snow conditions. This program is sponsored by Friends of Indiana Dunes. For more information on how to join, visit dunefriends.org.

The Chellberg Farm parking lot is located on Mineral Springs Road between U.S. Highway 20 and U.S. Highway 12 in Porter, Indiana.
