Turkey Trot Hike at Indiana Dunes National Park 2019

INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL PARK: Join a ranger on Saturday, November 30, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, in search of wild turkey and other wildlife as you work off Thanksgiving dinner. Meet the ranger at the Calumet Dunes parking lot in Indiana Dunes National Park. Hike along the ancient Calumet shoreline of Lake Michigan and through forested dunes and small blowouts.
 
The Calumet Dunes Trail parking lot located on 300E (Kemil Road), just off of U.S. Highway 12 near Beverly Shores. Indiana Dunes National Park is one of 419 units of the National Park System ranging from Yellowstone to the Statue of Liberty. Located in Northwest Indiana, the park includes 15 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline and 15,000 acres of biodiverse beaches, woods, prairies, and marshes. Up to 3 million visitors come to the Indiana Dunes each year.
