Temporary Closure of Tremont Picnic Area in National Lakeshore

INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE: The National Park Service will temporarily close Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore’s Tremont Picnic Area during the repaving of its parking lot. The work is scheduled sometime for the week of May 22 – 26, 2017. During the work, there will be no public access to the Tremont Picnic Area. Eight other picnic areas located in the national lakeshore will be open to the public during the time that the Tremont site is temporarily closed.
