Bring your kayak or canoe and enjoy a leisurely sunset paddle with a ranger every Thursday evening in July from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore’s Marquette Lagoons. This easy sunset adventure includes a visit to a lodge of one of our busiest animals, the American beaver. You must bring your own canoe or kayak, life jacket, and paddle. Meet at the Marquette Park Lagoon parking lot near the stairs just north of the Marquette Pavilion.

Marquette Park is located in the western portion of the national lakeshore at 1 North Grand Boulevard, about two miles north of U.S. Highway 12 in the Miller neighborhood of Gary. For more information on this or other programs at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, call 219-395-1882 or visit our website at www.nps.gov/indu and our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/IndianaDunesNL.
