Stewardship Opportunity at National Lakeshore

Join staff and fellow volunteers for a morning of stewardship on Saturday, April 15, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Heron Rookery. Please volunteer to help save the great biodiversity of this area by removing invasive plant species. No special knowledge or training is required. Wear comfortable clothes; work gloves and other protective equipment will be provided. Consider packing a lunch and staying for a wildflower hike, which will take place from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
 
Meet at the Heron Rookery’s east parking lot, which is located at 1336 North County Road 600E in Michigan City.
