INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE: Join staff and fellow volunteers on Saturday, February 4, and Saturday, February 18, to help with two stewardship programs at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore.

On Saturday, February 4, from 9:00 am–12:00 pm, join fruit tree enthusiasts in learning about different ways of restoring neglected fruit trees. After an indoor education session, we will grab pruning tools and prune some of the old fruit trees that we have located around the Good Fellow Camp. Wear warm, comfortable clothes; work gloves and equipment will be provided. Meet at the Dunes Learning Center parking lot located off of Howe Road in Porter.

On Saturday, February 18, from 9:00 am–12:00 pm, join in on a morning of stewardship as we prepare the historic Chellberg Farm and its sugar shack for the 39th annual Maple Sugar Time Festival. Wear warm, comfortable clothes; work gloves and equipment will be provided. Meet at the main Chellberg Farm/Bailly Homestead visitor center adjacent to the parking lot off of Mineral Springs Road in Porter.
