Kids of all ages are invited to celebrate and play in the outdoors at the Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore on Saturday, July 1 and July 15, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. This program will be spent building forts, hiking in Miller Woods, doing a free craft activity, and feeding the center’s resident fish, turtles, snakes, toads and frogs. Parents can watch their children’s creativity blossom during these relaxing two hours. This program will also be offered on August 5 and August 19. Rangers will guide these programs and there is no need to pre-register. |
