Pinhook Bog Open House at National Lakeshore

Date: July 31, 2017

Take a self-guided hike into the amazing Pinhook Bog every Saturday in August from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Rangers and volunteers stationed along the trail will help you understand this unique remnant of the last ice age that is filled with carnivorous plants, orchids, and many other interesting plants. Allow one hour to walk the trail and tour the quaking bog. Please start the hike before 2:00 pm to allow enough time.
