David Larson Presents Dunes Photo Workshop at National Lakeshore

Learn how to take better photos of the Indiana Dunes and other natural areas from famed dunes photographer David Larson. Join David on Friday, May 27, 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm at the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center for a free photography workshop. Whether you're a beginner or expert photographer, David can give you valuable tips from his over 50 years of photographing the Indiana Dunes. Learn the best techniques and times for photographing the dunes and how to get the most out of your digital or film camera. This workshop takes place in the visitor center auditorium and does not include a field trip nor require a camera.

David has contributed both photography and graphic design to the national lakeshore. His work has appeared in both the 2006 and 2007 Indiana Dunes calendars and the 40thAnniversary Commemorative Poster, as well as in a number of publications featuring Indiana Dunes. He currently has an exhibit at the national lakeshore's visitor center titled, "Fifty Years of Indiana Dunes Photography." The exhibit continues through September 5, 2016.
