Bring your pre-school child to the Nature Tots program for fun activities at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore's Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education. This program is led by a park ranger and is designed for children ages 2-5. Kids can make a free craft and gather to hear some nature stories. A ranger-led hike and time in the adjacent nature play zone, weather permitting, will be part of the two-hour program. Please pre-register by calling 219-395-1821. The spring dates and times for Nature Tots are April 12 at 10:00 am and May 10 at 10:00 am.

The Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education is located in the western portion of the national lakeshore at 100 North Lake Street, about one mile north of U.S. Highway 12 in the Miller section of Gary.
