Miller Woods Hike at National Lakeshore

Join a ranger for a hike through Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore’s Miller Woods on Sunday, May 28 from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, starting from Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education. The hike is spectacular in its varied habitats including rare and beautiful black oak savanna and offers views of Lake Michigan and Chicago. The hike will be held everySunday through August 20, 2017.

The Paul H. Douglas Center for Environmental Education is located in the western portion of the national lakeshore at 100 North Lake Street, about one mile north of U.S. Highway 12 in the Miller neighborhood of Gary.
