Celebrate our nation’s independence with a United States Military Band Concert at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Join the 85th Army Band, stationed out of Arlington Heights, Illinois, for a free concert on the beach at the national lakeshore’s West Beach on Sunday, July 2nd at 7:00 pm. The army's concert band will perform from the back steps of the West Beach bath house, so bring folding chairs or blankets to set up on the beach to enjoy this one-hour holiday concert.

There is normally a $6 per car fee for West Beach, but cars entering after 6:00 pm on the evening of the concert will get in free of charge. In the event of rain, the concert will be moved inside the West Beach bath house. For more information on this or other programs at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, visit the park website at www.nps.gov/indu/planyourvisit or contact our information desk at 219-395-1882.
