Help Feed the Animals at Chellberg Farm 2018

INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL LAKESHORE: Come help a ranger feed the farm animals every Sunday from from 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm at Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore’s historic Chellberg Farm.  The farm’s current residents include cows, pigs, and chickens. The animals are at the farm through a partnership with the Dunes Learning Center, the Friends of Indiana Dunes, 4-H Club of Porter County, and the FFA of Westville. This program will be offered from June 3rd through October 28th.
 
Chellberg Farm is located on Mineral Springs Road between U.S. Highway 20 and U.S. Highway 12 in Porter, Indiana. The Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore is one of 417 units of the National Park System ranging from Yellowstone to the Statue of Liberty. Located in Northwest Indiana, the park includes 15 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline and 15,000 acres of biodiverse beaches, woods, prairies, and marshes. Up to 2 million visitors come to the Indiana Dunes each year.
