INDIANA DUNES NATIONAL PARK: Join a ranger on Sunday, November 6, from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm at the Indiana Dunes Visitor Center for stories about shipwrecks on the Great Lakes. There have been approximately 6,000 shipwrecks just in Lake Michigan. While many were never found, some wrecks, like the JD Marshall or the Muskegon, are located nearby. During this program, you will also learn why the storms of November are so treacherous.

The Indiana Dunes Visitor Center is located at 1215 North State Road 49, about one mile north of Interstate 94 and just south of highway 20. For more information on this and other programs at Indiana Dunes National Park you can call 219-395-1882.
